A fantastic result at home and even with the heavy rotation, the team responded really well all around.
Wilfried Nancy’s team continues to prove why this team is in good hands. Consistent style, with the non starters and well drilled team.
A great win as the club advances to the semi finals of the Canadian Championship vs Toronto. This is the best chance MTL will get to win silverware and make the Concacaf Champions League once more.
3 observations
- Stability. Even with three of the team’s most important players out (Mihailovic, Wanyama, Camacho) the team stayed consistent to its principles and payed really well.
- Sunusi is a monster. This could prove more minutes for him as Quiota has fitness issues and Toye remains sidelined.
- Pantemis watch started and he played pretty solidly. More performances like these and we could see some MLS action.
