A potential sleeper pick in this draft, Fernando Monge is the 18th pick overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. The UCLA center midfielder fits the bill of the CMF requirements that the Impact was looking for. Still a question mark around the need of CMF with Collen Warner and Patrice Bernier with the club for a couple of years and with young players like Callum Mallace and Wandrille Lefevre coming up the ranks.

Monge has been tagged having MLS talent right away so integrating him into the club's structure will be interesting and important to see where he stands among his future teammates.

and Yes he is originally from Seatlle, WA continuing the love story (is it?) between the Montreal Impact and Seattl natives. He should be clicking with another Seattle native, Lamar Neagle.

Height 5-10 / Weight 165

GOAL: Fernando Monge pounces on the half volley
