A huge result at home and despite the early injury to Djordje Mihailovic, Montreal showed massive resolve to win a barn burner of a game at home.
Wilfried Nancy’s team continues to prove his coach of the year charge is merited as the club played real well and kept its composure throughout.
The Djordje injury does hurt and we hope it’s not serious as this team has real top of the east potential and MLS Cup hopes.
3 observations
- Joaquin Torres is a real good player. His link up play and versatility have to be more appreciated by fans.
- Defense stepped up even with conceding three times. Miller, Camacho and Waterman, who scored, played with strong resolve and did just enough to hold on and win.
- Wanyama is a monster as is Lappalainen who both on the left side played excpetionally well. Also, shoutout Romell Quioto who scored twice and finally showed up in key moments.
