Report: CF Montréal’s Djordje Mihailovic Receiving Heavy Interest in Europe

So. Many. Teams. Interested.

MLS: CF Montreal at Philadelphia Union Mitchell Leff-USA TODAY Sports

CF Montréal’s Djordje Mihailovic has been receiving heavy interest from abroad. That according to latest reports both in Europe and Canada.

French site jeunesfooteux, has clocked over 10 teams closely monitoring him in Montreal. They include Roma, Bologna, Leverkusen, Dortmund and several French and English teams.

Djordje has been on a tear for really over a year as he has been the most consistent player in MLS and the most as an American. Add a pretty great start this season as the club is top four in the East and he is a key cog in that.

As far as value goes, transfermarkt has the player at six million euros worth. So I have no doubt Montreal can and should go for 10 or as close to it as possible.

In terms of fit, it could behoove the player to move in the winter as to allow his performances in Montreal to keep building. Paired with a spot on the World Cup team in November/December it could prove lucrative for both club and player,

Italy or France would be ideal, but a winter move would make most sense.

We’ll wait to hear more.
