The Impact is back in the Canadian Championship final for a second year in a row facing a familiar foe in the Vancouver Whitecaps. The first leg of the final will be played at Stade Saputo tonight where Montreal will have the obligation to get a good result to give itself as much chance as possible when it travels to BC place for the second leg.
The return of Justin Mapp will be a huge boost for the Bleu-Blanc-Noir while enjoying a bye week in MLS. This means that Frank Klopas will be able to field the strongest squad possible while rotating in a smart way. It has not been confirmed but we might just see Didier Drogba on a Impact roster sheet though the club is planning to play him on August 22nd against the Philadelphia Union.
Frank Klopas shares his thoughts on the importance of winning trophies and Donny Toia about staying sharp defensively. More below courtesy of Kan Football Club and DigiKan.
