Montreal Impact Looking at a Sober Transfer Market

Do not expect the Montreal Impact to make a big splash during the winter transfer market.

As stated by Nick De Santis a few times during the off-season, the Montreal Impact will not be overhauling the club as some few clubs did. Aiming for stability and continuity on the pitch, the club is looking to add a couple of pieces to the roster.

At this point, it is not clear if those pieces would integrate a starting eleven directly and becoming part of the team's core. It is also not clear if the club is looking to add more depth and options, something that it was lacking since joining Major League Soccer in 2012.

Sources close to the club have confirmed that the Impact is in advanced talks with '' a couple '' of players. With the recent signing of Nelson Rivas, the additions would probably be for the left side of the midfield (or winger) and another striker.

Without knowing exactly what type of players will be joining the Montreal Impact, the club is close to bring a couple of players , which we would see during pre-season.
