Squeaking into the MLS playoffs, the Montreal Impact is in the 2013 MLS playoffs as the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. Having released the 2013 MLS playoffs schedule earlier this week, Major League Soccer has updated all the brackets, including the where, the who and the how.
Avoiding the wild card games was a must-have for the Montreal Impact looking at their recent physical and mental form. But that same bad form almost had them eliminated from getting to the Big Dance. Playing the wildcard or knockout game means that either the Houston Dynamo or the Impact will be playing three games in one week to make it to the Eastern Conference MLS finals.
