The Montreal Impact is represented by Patrice Bernier and Evan James, both coming back to '' Les Rouges''. Evan James was part of U23 Canadian National Team that lost , in the semi-final, to eventual Olympic Goal Medal winner, Mexico. Patrice Bernier last call-up for Team Canada was against St. Kitts and Nevis, in a 4-0 win in Toronto.

Stephen Hart , Canadian Head Coach

I'm going to be looking closely at the individual performances

It's a good timing for Patrice Bernier to come back in the squad, among 8 player called up by Hart that did not play with the National Team in June. Bernier is in good form with the Impact and has definitely adapted his game to MLS or at least he is used to style and rhythm of the league.

It's a proof Joey Saputo, Nick De Santis and Jesse Marsch did not get Bernier back home just for marketing purposes but for actual soccer value. The whole situation translates itself into 6 Goals/6Assists in MLS , Player of the Week honors in June and a national team-call up.

Pas pire, pas pire
