PSG - A Busy Night for Paris Police

Many PSG fans gathered at Parc des Princes to watch Sunday’s final on big screens.

French police announced they made 148 arrests following riots after Paris St-Germain’s 0-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the 2020 Champions League final, played in Lisbon, Sunday.

Clashes broke out on the Champs-Elysees and around Parc des Princes stadium where PSG play home matches. fans had gathered there to watch their club’s first-ever Champions League final on big screens.

Cars were set on fire and store windows smashed said police who said most of the arrests were for damage, violence or throwing projectiles.

A further 404 penalties were issued to those not wearing safety masks in the ‘compulsory wearing sector’.
