Amar Sejdic, Montreal’s 23 year-old American who made 5 appearances last season (all competitions) spoke after a stifling hot training session this morning at Centre Nutrilait.

Wearing a face-mask, Sejdic expressed how happy he was to be back on the training field, to have a schedule again and to be with all his team-mates and the coaching staff.

“We’re learning new things every day and it’s good to be playing high quality football again,”
Asked for his impressions on the MLS-is-Back tournament in Florida, the American had this to say...

“It’s a different format from what the guys are used to, but main thing is it’s our job go out and compete. We want to play at a high level and I think we’re doing a great job now of preparing for Orlando.

“It’s a second pre-season for us so we’re going to go in motivated and hopefully come out with the best results possible.”

Asked about worries in Orlando over Covid-19, Sejdic sounded confident to place his trust in the League.

“The League puts player health first so with everything going on, I think it will be ok for the time being. It’s not really something I know too much information about, so we have to see how things move forward over the next few weeks.”
