The big news is that Saphir Taider has not been passed fit, so the Impact line up as expected this evening against Philadelphia Union. This means a debut for new signing Mason Toye who will partner Bojan up front. Toye comes in for the injured Lappalainen who would not have been available if fit anyway, due to his international call-up.

With Jukka Raitala away on international duty, Rudy Camacho comes into a five man defence. Amar Sejdic retains his place in midfield after a competent performance against Columbus.

For Philadelphia, Jim Curtin replaces injured centre-back Jakob Glesnes with Jack Elliott who subbed on for the Norwegian at half-time in the midweek victory over Cincinnati. Anthony Fontana drops down to the bench after the midweek victory and is replaced in midfield by Warren Creavalle.
