Canada v USA: Early Team News - The Line-Ups

BMO Field, Toronto - Montreal Impact’s Sam Piette starts alongside captain Scott Arfield in the centre of a four-man midfield that also includes Jonathan Osorio and Alphonso Davies on the flanks.

Mark-Anthony Kaye also selected, is expected to form a back three with Derek Cornelius and Portuguese-based Steven Vitoria.

Canada are looking like 3-5-2 in attack and 5-3-2 when defending with Richie Laryea and Kamal Miller working the flanks.

Gregg Berhalter has also gone 3-5-2 with Impact’s Daniel Lovitz and Schalke 04’s Weston McKennie in the wide positions. Josh Sargent has proven his fitness and players up front, alongside Jordan Morris of Seattle Sounders.

The battle in central midfield will be key, with notables such as Arfield, Piette, Bradley and Pulisic all in the mix of battle.
