VIDEO: The Return of the General

Love him or hate him, Laurent Ciman is back in Montreal this weekend but this time, in enemy colors.

Whether you're happy with his departure, upset about it, or indifferent Laurent Ciman was a dominant defender for the Montreal Impact. Arriving in LA, a new club and a new coach, Ciman was on a mission to prove the doubters wrong.

So far this season LAFC has been very impressive in one game and struggling in the next (3 wins and 2 losses). The 2015 defender of the year, who's the leader of LAFC, will surely be leading by example on Saturday. Playing against one's former club always carries something special for a player and Ciman, who was upset of the way he left, probably wants to prove what the Impact missed out on him.

It will be interesting to see what type of reception the player gets but seeing the comments on twitter I would not be surprised if Ciman is well received by his former (and for some current) fans.
