The Montreal Impact is not literally going green but they will show green initiative with fully recycled jerseys on Saturday April 21st. With Earth Day just around the corner, the Impact will wear white and black jerseys in their match against Los Angeles FC this coming weekend. All MLS teams facing off this weekend will be sporting either variation of the Earth day jerseys.
The white and black jersey, already sold out on the MLS website, will be available in limited quantities at the Evangelista boutique at the stadium on game day.

Saturday’s match up is one many Impact fans have circled in their calendars for a few reasons. First off, this game will be the first game at Saputo Stadium of the season. Furthermore, the match up against the new MLS team, LAFC, also means the return of Laurent Ciman to la belle province. It will be interesting to see what type of greeting fans give him after his unexpected and talked about trade from Montreal to LA.
LAFC who have three wins and two losses this season, are coming off a strong performance in Vancouver. Meanwhile the Impact who have dropped their last two in somewhat of a humiliating and disappointing fashion will be looking to bounce back against a formidable opponent.
