CenturyLink Field is the home of the Seattle Sounders, the next opponent of the Montreal Impact on Saturday. The stadium is on the top of every list for most intimidating stadiums of the MLS and for many reasons. The home of one of the best supported teams of the MLS leads to a pretty outstanding atmosphere. Rowdy fans support their club from every side of this stadium and attempt to intimidate the enemy from the beginning of the game up until the final whistle.

The Impact have although fared well in this stadium walking away with a win and a lost by only a one goal margin in each case. Ultimately, they always seem to perform quite well against a team who’s had a lot of success in recent years; reaching the last two MLS Cup finals and winning the cup in 2016.

It is without a doubt that a challenge will be present, as the 40,000-plus supporters that show up at every single Sounders game will try to make the lives of the Impact players very difficult. It takes a lot for a stadium made for the NFL to be this intimidating, but when it makes the top five, every single year, on any poll it is hard to argue that this atmosphere is anything short of spectacular.

Last of International Duty

Saphir Taider, the only player who has not yet returned from international action had his final game of this break with Algeria today. Once again he did not see any minutes on the pitch and was an unused substitue. He should be returning with the club shortly to get ready for the clash against the Seattle Sounders.
