The 2018 MLS SuperDraft is taking place later on today Friday, January 19th 2018 at 11:00 am Eastern Time at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Philadelphia.
With an strong draft class ahead it will be interesting to see who the first overall pick will be and more importantly if LAFC will be keeping this first pick given that many players seem to be up for grabs.
The four round draft will take place over the weekend, with the first two rounds taking place tomorrow. The following rounds will take place on Sunday via conference call.
The Montreal Impact hold important positions in the first round and could likely move one of their two picks given the amount of youth they already have in development. With no picks in the second round, the Impact will get two third round picks (53rd and 60th overall) and one fourth round pick (76th overall).
When: Friday, January 19 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time.
Where: United Soccer Coaches Convention in Philadelphia, PA.
