The Montreal Impact will look to bounce back from their disappointing loss against their biggest rivals, Toronto FC. They will face off against the Chicago Fire, who is currently in a slum with only one win in their past five games. Montreal will be without some key players due to international duty like Ciman, Piette and Dzemaili. Anthony Jackson-Hamel will also not be an option for manager Mauro Biello who has 7 goals and 3 assists in only 588 minutes. Every point will count from now until the end of the season especially against conference opponents like Chicago. With all of these key players out of line up it will provide the opportunity to players like Ballou and Romero to show their value on the roster. More importantly, it will be interesting to see if Piatti, the player of the month of August of the MLS, can continue his goal and dominance streak.

Chicago: Nemanja Nikolic one of the top scorers in the league this season has been struggling lately being held scoreless since July 1st. With Chicago needing every win they can get, they will need their leading goal scorer to have a dominant performance. His performance has had a lot of impact on the outcome of games give that the Fire has only pulled out two wins when Nikolic doesn’t score.

Montreal: Ignacio Piatti, the player of the month of August with seven goals and one assist in his past five games. Piatti can carry the team on his shoulders when he is on and with the absences in the lineup all eyes will be on him. It will be interesting to see how impactful he will be.
