Can someone please explain how someone goes from team mvp to barely making the bench in just over 2 years? I understand the injuries but I can't believe they are still the issue. He's young and should have long recovered. If it's because he just doesn't fit the new coaching plans, why not trade him or release him and free up some cap? In his mvp year prior to the initial major injury, he far surpassed Oduro in quality of play and would have been great opposite side of Piatti. I would love to see that mvp Romero return at some point and take up his old position on the right wing cuz it's pretty quiet there now.
