The Montreal Impact will strive to extend their winning streak against conference rivals; Chicago Fire. Winning such match is crucial for the Impacts playoff hopes. Despite their recent slew of bonafide results, the Impact is still on the outside looking in. As of today, the Impact remains to be 5 points from that elusive playoff spot. We will soon reckon if Montreal can wiggle their way into the top-6 in the coming matches, depending on their performances. The Impact will have to put forth a solid brand of soccer if they yearn for the chance to be victorious.

Nonetheless, becoming triumphant vs. Chicago will be no easy feat as the Fire maintains an affluence of formidable players. In doing so, the Impact will somehow have to contain. Bastian Schweinsteiger's playmaking abilities and Matt Lampson's impeccable ability to keep the ball out of the net will demand some degree of consideration on how the Impact should attempt to halt their prowess.
Montreal’s offensive weapons consisting of Ignacio Piatti, Blerim Dzemaili, Ballou Tabla and Michael Salazar will need to muster up every goal scoring opportunity imaginable in hopes of putting the ball past Lampson. Needless to say, Montreal has to clean up their act in their own end if they aspire to be victorious in this match. It's a basic necessity that the back four performs above their heads recognizing the threat that Bastian Schweinsteiger and Nemanja Nikolic bring to the table.

How Do The Impact Win?
Time and time again the Impact showcased precisely how mediocre their defense has been thus far into this campaign. From Laurent Ciman to Daniel Lovitz, the Impact's back 4 floundered when Biello's men were under attack. The defensive errors are a detriment to the Impact's style of play and it clearly showed for the majority of the season.
Who’s Hot?
29-year-old striker, Nemanja Nikolic has achieved wonders so far into his tenure with Orlando. The Hungarian international proved to be a great buy for Chicago as he amassed 16 goals in 23 matches thus far into the campaign. Mauro Biello’s men will need to be extra cautious when Nikolic is on the horizon. His lethal finishing and his ability to hold onto the ball are undeniably what makes him a dangerous threat.
