Montreal Impact on the verge of acquiring Deian Boldor on loan from Bologna FC

The young Romanian central defender is on his way to Montreal

The Montreal Impact is on the verge of loaning Romanian central defender Deian Boldor from Bologna FC.

Adam Braz the Technical director of the Montreal Impact confirmed to the media on Tuesday that he would be loaned out from Bologna to come play for the Montreal Impact for the second half of the season. He also added that the only reason this hasn't been announced yet was that there were a couple minor details that needed to be finished. Braz said he should be on his way to Montreal soon.

The 22-year-old Romanian footballer of Serbian descent is also currently on loan away from Bologna to Hellas Verona, he also played for the Romanian men's national from the age of 17 to the age of 21.

Deian Boldor seems to be a solid centre-back that the Montreal Impact could use alongside Laurent Ciman but with the recent good play from Kyle Fisher this season it will be interesting to see who will win the spot next to Laurent Ciman. Sometimes position fighting could bring the best out of players so when Boldor does join the team it will be fun to watch and see what will happen between him and Fisher.
