At the age of 18, Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla will have to choose which national team he will play for.
Originally born in Ivory Coast, Tabla has since represented Canada at the international level. Soon enough he will have to choose what team he will want to represent, as when you turn 18 you can choose what team you will play for as an adult.

"It is not a hesitation, but my family is very attached to this, that I represent the country [of its origins]. I have brothers who care about this and for me, it is very important. It's a big decision for me. "
Canada's new national team coach Victor Zambrano was at Stade Saputo to attend the Impact's game against Atlanta on Saturday and took the opportunity to meet Ballou.
The new boss did not hesitate to sell his salad to one of the best hopes of Canadian soccer.
