Head coach of the Montreal Impact Mauro Biello confirmed to the media on Tuesday that the team would make an appeal for the unfair red card given to Marco Donadel last Friday against the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Referee Armando Villarreal issued a red card to Montreal Impact midfielder Marco Donadel in the 1st half for a supposed elbow to the face of midfielder Jermaine Jones.

In the video, you can clearly see that there is no contact to the head with Jermaine Jones and Marco Donadel. The MLS had many issues last season with bad officiating and it seems it's back again this season.
“Unfortunately, it kills the game a little.” said Impact defender Laurent Ciman about the call made by referee Armando Villarreal.
Impact captain Patrice Bernier had a bit to say about the call also "In my opinion, it was not a red card. I have seen every angle. There was a bit of contact, but Donadel simply wanted to improve his position in relation to the ball. He fell with his hands on his face, but there was zero contact to the face. He decided to play the game with the referee. For now, he won."
Donadel: "it's good that Jones is near Hollywood. "Maybe that he trains in the morning and the afternoon is an actor."
We will wait and see what the league says but I'm hopeful Marco won't be sitting out this Saturday vs Atlanta.
