DC United almost handed the Impact its second consecutive home loss if it wasn't for a late equaliser by Hassoun Camara. His glorious header, from a perfect pass by Marco Donadel, was required to beat Bill Hamid, who seemed unbeatable..almost.
Donny Toia tripped (or not) Patrick Nyarko in the box, gifting DC a penalty kick. Lamar Neagle, ex-Impact midfielder, would convert the penalty kick to give the visitors a 1-0 half-time lead.
Having trouble to settle in, many feared that Montreal would get trapped by DC , the same way they did vs the Chicago Fire. Dominic Oduro’s impact on the game was noticeable when he came on at the 61st minute for Johan Venegas, who went from being out of the 18-man roster directly into the starting lineup.
