We expected rain but it poured goals at Stade Saputo.
- The Impact hasn't taken a lead at Stade Saputo for a while. At least, that is what it feels like. The 1-0 goal by Didier Drogba was the result of great chemistry between Piatti and Oyongo. Drogba just needed to tap the goal in.
- Lately scoring more than one goal in the first half seemed like a feat but Didier Drogba took care of business with a hat-trick.

- Ambroise Oyongo was on fire. The Cameroonian International proved to everyone why he was a Lions Indomptables. Dominant offensively and safe defensively, he was huge.
- The 2016 MLS MVP is......Ignacio Piatti. Premature but a safe bet if you ask me.
- Revamped backline was solid and symbolic of a very compact defensive style the Impact decided to play tonight
- Patrice Bernier is a boss. The midfielder shows why he is still an important peg in the club's arsenal
So Mauro, do we party the rest of the week?
