A tweet from reputable Bologna-based italian journalist, Daniele Labanti, is linking Lucas Ontivero to Bologna FC. A reminder the both Bologna and the Montreal Impact are owned by the same person, Joey Saputo. As both clubs were obviously connected and part of a bigger extended family, the exchange between both clubs would eventually come to a club's most important asset: Players.
#BolognaFc likely to go deep on pursuing #IMFC winger Lucas Ontivero

Take note that the Bologna brass, Marco Di Vaio (club manager) and Roberto Donadoni (head coach), were shadowing the Impact and saw the Bleu-Blanc-Noir play Orlando City SC and the LA Galaxy. Perfect timing to observe Ontivero who arguably had his best 2 games as an Impact player.
The Argentinean young DP came to Montreal on a 1-year loan deal from Turkish giant, Galatasaray, during which both clubs are paying Ontivero's 50-50. At this point, the Impact does not own the rights to the player, meaning that Bologna would need to negotiate with the Turkish club to try and get the young winger, who started his youth career with Real Madrid.
