Laurent Ciman joins Belgium for Euro 2016

Initial part of the reserve lost for the Red Devils of Belgium, Laurent Ciman might be spending a good chunk of his summer in France.

A plethora of injuries has forced the hand of Marc Wilmots, who is a fan of Ciman, and called the Montreal Impact to reinforce his defensive squad.

Already heavily dependent to the 2015 MLS defender of the year, the Impact will miss his presence and defensive expertise. With Victor Cabrera going back and forth between the field and the infirmary, expect Wandrille Lefevre to step in and play more MLS minutes. Hassoun Camara will also be called upon to play more minutes as a Center back.

Outside the bad news aspect of the call-up,  it should be seen as a real honor to have among your team and city an international player,  that has always been in the running to be part of the Belgian National Team.

After experiencing the 2014 World Cup, Ciman is one step closer to live a Euro in France. He will be joining the Red Devils in Switzerland as they prepare for a friend vs the Swiss.
