After getting snubbed from an MLS MVP finalist vote, Montreal Impact’s Ignacio Piatti was named to the MLS best XI on Monday morning.

MLS best XI is given to the league’s top players at each position. For the 2016 season the list consists of Blake; Hedges, Sjoberg, Van Damme; Diaz, Dos Santos, Kljestan, Piatti; Giovinco, Villa, and Wright-Phillips.

Piatti finished third in the MLS with a career-best 17 goals in 32 games this season, eight more goals than the 2015 season. The Argentine powerhouse had four goals and two assists in the MLS playoffs.
