Seattle Sounders in the MLS Cup final, will face Toronto FC or the Montreal Impact

Seattle get first ever MLS Cup final berth

The most talked about team in MLS will finally have a chance to stake its claim to the MLS crown.

After taking the first leg at Seattle, a 2-1 win, the Seattle Sounders went to Colorado to beat the comeback team of the year. A goal from Jordan Morris, from a Lodeiro pass, was enough to give a 1-0 lead to the Sounders.

After a season full of up and downs and a coaching change, the gamble by the Seattle brass seems to have paid off.

Now the Western Conference champions will wait for Wednesday's Eastern Conference final, a Canadian affair, as the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC will look to create a new page in their own history.

If Toronto FC goes through, the MLS Cup final will be played at BMO field. If the Impact go through, the Bleu-blanc-noir will travel to Seattle and try to lift the cup at CenturyLink field.
