Didier Drogba will not play against DC United

Drogba has not practiced since boycotting game vs Toronto

MLS: Montreal Impact at D.C. United Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Mauro Biello did warn us of the slim chances to see Didier Drogba make the trip to Washington DC and face D.C. United in the knockout game at RFK stadium. Having not practiced since the 2-2 tie against Toronto FC, the Montreal Impact has been practicing with the hypothesis that Mancosu will be the striker up front.

Not only is Drogba missing the game but there are no indications that he will be traveling with the team to DC.

The Impact has reasons to believe that it can beat D.C. United but other factors will hurt the Bleu-Blanc-Noir, especially that home teams have a distinct advantage in the MLS playoffs ; even more during knockout games.
