Drogba to join the Impact in 2016, at least for training camp

One chapter of the Drogba saga has ended and hopefully a positive one will start for the Montreal Impact. The club has confirmed that Didier Drogba will join the club in its second preseason trip in Florida.

An initial roster will be in Montreal for 2 days as of this Monday at the Olympic Stadium. That group would then fly to Orlando for phase 1 of preseason.

A second trip will be happening in St. Petersburg,  Florida where more players will join the club and most importantly Drogba.

The Ivorian striker will be making a pitstop in Qatar to prepare his own preseason,  before joining the club.
