Report: Nick de Santis promoted to VP with the Montreal Impact

The current Director of International Business Development is about to get a promotion. As per a tweet/report from ex-Impact striker, Lloyd Barker, Nick de Santis will have a new official title: Vice President. No indication on the exact title (VP of  what) but he will report directly to Joey Saputo

With the club since its inception as a player and after a a few stints as head coach, Nick De Santis has always been associated with the Montreal Impact brand. In 2011, he became the club's Sporting Director, a role he continued to occupy until the middle of 2014.

De Santis should be keeping an international aspect to his new role, something that he seems to relish as the Impact sporting ambassador to recruit international players and create links with other organizations around the world.

The club has not made any statement on the report made by Lloyd Barker.
