Initially reported by Oliver Brett of RDS, Krzysztof Krol will not be a Bleu-Blanc-Noir anymore. The Montreal Impact has parted ways with the polish left-back, who knew Frank Klopas in a previous stint with the Chicago Fire.
His departure frees up an international spot and needed cap space that Montreal will definitely use to shore up any gaps it has in its lineup. This move was not surprising after Brett's tweet and since Krol did not travel with the team for its pre-season camp in Mexico.
Adam Braz, Technical Director
This move gives us more flexibility with the salary cap and also frees up an international spot,.We wish Krzysztof the best in his future endeavours.
ICYMI: Hearing @impactmontreal have bought back Krzysztof Krol's contract. Polish defender won't be with the team in 2015. #IMFC #MLS
