Collen Warner traded to Toronto FC for Issey Nakajima-Farran

Collen Warner was traded to Toronto FC. The Montreal Impact get in return Issey Nakajima-Farran.

Joey Saputo promised changes and changes we got. The Montreal Impact traded midfielder, Collen Warner, to Toronto FC in exchange for Issey Nakajima-Farran plus allocation money. A starter under Frank Klopas, Warner has 90+ games in MLS and joined the Impact during the 2012 MLS Expansion Draft from Real Salt Lake.

Warner was a serviceable player and appreciated by the club. Frank Klopas made sure to thank Warner for what he did " both on and off the field during his time with the Impact ". As per the newcomer, Klopas adds that Issey Nakajima-Farran has "qualities [that] will fit well within our group and style of play''.

Nakajima-Farran played in the Japanese first division with Albirex Niigata in 2003. In 2007, he joined Danish club FC Nordsjælland for two seasons. He played alongside Impact captain Patrice Bernier for one of them.

Before joining Major League Soccer, Nakajima-Farran played for the Brisbane Roar of the Australian A-League, played in the first and second divisions in Cyprus in 2012 and 2013.

The club also confirmed that it has also received allocation money in trade with Toronto.
