Montreal Impact beat FC Edmonton and will face Toronto FC for the Final

The Montreal Impact is through to the Amway Canadian Championship Final after beating FC Edmonton 4-2 at Stade Saputo.

After leading 3-0 during the game, the Montreal Impact almost lost to FC Edmonton on aggregate but a Patrice Bernier penalty kick in extra-time was enough to seal the deal. The Impact have finally won its second game of the season but will still be looking to get a second win in Major League Soccer.

Jack McInerney had a brace against Edmonton FC thanks to two assists by Justin Mapp. The left-footed winger has been the most consistent player for the Bleu-Blanc-Noir. Jeb Brovsky's head connects with Hernan Bernardello's corner kick to make it 3-0, early in the second half.

Frank Jonke was the hero for the visitors when he scored two goals in less than 4 minutes. But Bernier seals the deal with a penalty kick and the Impact avoid humiliation in Stade Saputo.
