Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

A historical announcement has hit the airwaves as the Montreal Impact can be heard on the Hertzian waves of TSN690. It's a first for both English and French radio as all the Montreal Impact games (home and away) will be broadcasted live.

The broadcasting team will include Rick Moffat of TSN 690 and Brian Wilde of CTV Montreal, as both will share play-by-play duties. Ex-Montreal Impact striker Grant Needham will continue with his colour commentary duties.

This is definitely a big step towards the establishment of the Montreal Impact as per media coverage and visibility among English-speaking fans.

Chris Bury confirmed live on TSN690 that the broadcast will include a 30-minute pregame and post-game show, every game.
