I'm very happy to add Nikos to our group. He will bring a wealth of experience as a former player who then worked as a coach. He will complement the staff that we have. It's a fantastic addition for us.

Having spent most of his career with OFI Crete, Kounenakis was a central defender in the Greek Super League. During that time, he played in the UEFA Cup and Intertoto Cup. His professional experience includes stints with Anderlecht and Roda JC.

He also played one season in Major League Soccer with the Kansas City Wizards in 2010.
