Andres Romero is back with the Montreal Impact as the club has just announced that the midfielder/winger has been loaned again by Brazilian club Tombense FC.
After a lackluster season under Marco Schallibaum, Romero will face a big personal challenge to prove his nay-sayers wrong. With a strong support shown by Sporting Director, Nick De Santis, it would have been a surprise not to see Romero back.
Both De Santis and Frank Klopas confirmed that the club was in the process to bring back the Argentinean midfielder, as early as possible during training camp. As the left side of the midfield is pretty much open, it might be Romero's spot to lose but many expect him to have a break out season in 2014.
The deal will be confirmed upon receipt of his international transfer certificate (ITC). As per MLS policy, details of the deal were not disclosed.
