The 2014 MLS Expansion Draft is today and we will know if any Montreal Impact players will be selected by New York City FC (likely not if the Jeb Brovsky trade did have a clause) or Orlando City SC. This expansion draft might not be as excitig as previous ones with so many trades done by Orlando and New York that probably include " Don't pick any of my players in the Expansion Draft ".
The Impact players do not seem as attractive as what other clubs area leaving unprotected but they might be more salary-cap friendly, whatever will the new salary cap be in 2015 and beyond. Playing alongside David Villa, Frank Lampard or Kaka could be very attractive for a few players and some would not mind changing Postal Codes and Zip Codes.
