Sporting Director Nick De Santis fined and suspended for one game

Nick De Santis has been fined and suspended one game by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for continued aggressive, confrontational, and irresponsible behavior toward the match officials after the 2-1 loss to the Columbus Crew.

Columbus seems to be the Montreal Impact's nemesis or " Bete Noire" , after the Impact losing 2-1 at Stade Saputo. A quiet , calm and dissapointed Marco Schallibaum faced the media. Little did we know that Nick De Santis had a talk with the game officials (referees) after the game.

As per the  MLS Disciplinary Committee, De Santis had a "continued aggressive, confrontational, and irresponsible behavior toward the match officials" , following the 2-1 loss to the Columbus Crew , on September 14th.
