Post-Game Quotes

Montreal Impact

Jesse Marsch, Head Coach

I think we grew up tonight, It was great to see. You can compare the end of the first half to the game we played in New York. We said that this was a mental challenge, and we had to handle this well and push forward, and they did great. We had a bunch of guys who had good performances. That was definitely a team tonight.

Hassoun Camara, Central Defender

Letting in two goals was not ideal in the first half, but we were able to keep pushing and got the win. Maybe earlier in the season, we would have let it affect us, but we came out in the second and were determined to keep playing our game. We finished strong and had another good performance at home.

Justin Mapp, Midfielder

Having three central midfielders causes a lot of trouble for other teams. If we keep possession of the ball on this big field, good things will happen for us.

Houston Dynamo

This one's on me. I don't think I handled the team correctly after Wednesday night. We looked tired and I think that's down to my team selection. Every once in a while the coach has to stand up and say the defeat is on him and I have no problems doing that tonight. I coached and picked the game very poorly tonight.
