Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain to face each other in Montreal

It has been confirmed via an official Juventus press release that as part of the 2012 World Football Challenge, Juventus will play Paris Saint Germain in Montreal, at Olympic Stadium on July 31st 2012. One of the largest soccer exhibitions tournaments in North America, the World Football Challenge brings the world's best clubs to North America for the viewing pleasure of the North American fans.

This will also include Montrealers who love their events and will be treated to 2 European royalty: Juventus and Paris Saint Germain. Juventus is coming off its first Serie A title after a 9 year draught and led by ex-player Antonio Conte as head coach. Another Italian will be leading Paris Saint Germain as Carlo Ancelotti coaches the French side who just finished 2nd in the league behind Montpellier.

Two teams with a rich past that have found their way back and come to play in your backyard: could that be any better of an event , Montreal?

Following last summer's successful pre-season campaign held in North America, Juventus are set to return to the region as part of their preparations for the 2012/13 season.

Antonio Conte's men will compete in the CAA Sports ‘World Football Challenge', a friendly competition featuring some of the biggest clubs in the world, to be contested between Canada and the United States.

The Bianconeri's opening fixture sees them take on DC United in Washington on 28 July. Three days later, on 31 July, Paris Saint Germain provide the opposition in Montreal. The last encounter, a mouth-watering showdown with Spanish champions Real Madrid, will be played in Las Vegas on 5 August.

Après une tournée au Qatar début 2012 et le match prestigieux face au Milan AC à Dubaï, le Paris Saint-Germain participera, outre-Atlantique, à deux rencontres de gala contre le Chelsea FC et la Juventus de Turin.

Dans le cadre de sa préparation estivale, le Club s'envolera pour une tournée en Amérique du Nord du 19 au 31 juillet prochain. Le Paris Saint-Germain poursuit son développement à l'international et participera, dans ce contexte, à 2 matches de prestige, contre le Chelsea FC et la Juventus de Turin.

La confrontation entre le PSG et le vainqueur de l'UEFA Champions League 2012 se déroulera le 22 juillet à 19h (heure locale) au Yankee Stadium et sera le premier match de football organisé dans ce lieu mythique du baseball. Le match contre le Champion d'Italie 2012 conclura en beauté cette tournée le 31 juillet à 20h (heure locale) au stade Olympique de Montréal.

Cette tournée va permettre au groupe emmené par l'entraîneur du PSG Carlo Ancelotti de réaliser une préparation de très haut niveau sportif, et de se confronter à deux grands ténors de la scène européenne, futur terrain de jeu du Club pour la saison 2012-2013.

Cette tournée estivale sera précédée d'un stage d'une dizaine de jours en Autriche dans la Province de Burgenland.
