The Montreal Impact have announced today that 20 players are under contract for the 2013 season and confirming that it has exercised options on 11 players which where:

  • Evan Bush
  • Jeb Brovsky
  • Hassoun Camara
  • Dennis Iapichino
  • Calum Mallace
  • Zarek Valentin
  • Karl W. Ouimette
  • Lamar Neagle
  • Sanna Nyassi
  • Collen Warner
  • Sinisa Ubiparipovic

This adds to the initial list the Joey Saputo announced at the post-mortem conference in which he declared that nine players were returning with the club before the Italy post-season tour: Patrice Bernier, Davy Arnaud, Marco Di Vaio, Alessandro Nesta, Matteo Ferrari, Nelson Rivas, Felipe, Troy Perkins and Andrew Wenger

This is no guarantee for any players to actually be on the roster when the 2013 season starts but some names are obviously here to stay. This gives an image and an idea on what the team will look like in training camp and possibly in March, with some arrivals and departures.

Still without a head coach, another filter might happen but it might mostly be in the area of arrivals but we will wait and see.
