A news report from the UK sports site, HITC Sports, earlier today is sending Nigel Reo-Coker back home. He might have been physically in North America but his heart was always beating for the Union Jack.
The player's agent tells the British site that Reo-Coker wishes to come back in England. His 3-year stint in MLS has included an interesting start in Vancouver, a forgettable season with the now defunct Chivas USA and one season with the bleu-blanc-noir that had its share of up and downs.
The EPL veteran seemed to be out of sync throughout the 2015 MLS season only to revive his career and love for the game under the tutelage of Didier Drogba. And so did the rest of the team.
With the rumour that is bringing Pedro Jeanine on trial with the club and a potential need for an international spot for Jeanine and/or a foreign striker, the rumour might make sense.
Though, I personally have never heard of the site HITC Sports and they must think the same about us.
Preseason camp opens up on Monday January 25th 2016 as more answers will be given by the club on its current roster status.
