If it's hard to find a picture wearing a Montreal Impact jersey during a game, it's usually a sign that you didn't have much of an impact, pun not intended. Traded from the Portland Timbers for a 2015 draft second round pick. His MLS experience seemed to be what the Impact needed.
But with only 3 games played, it was quite the mystery why Futty Danso didn't see the pitch more often. He might be the symbol of a lack of communication between the technical/managerial department and the coaching staff. Though, Frank Klopas does have first and last say on who plays on his first team.
We will miss you Danso, or at least what many Impact fans hoped to see you do for the bleu-blanc-noir, but never really did.

N/A - One of the strangest signings in my opinion. The chance to get a real MLS veteran in and help the defence. However he never really got playing time. Should have played in place of Heath Pearce more regularly.

5/10 : Difficile de mettre une vraie note à Danso. Il a fait autant preuve de solidité que de friabilité. Je l'aurais quand même davantage utilisé, on a bien fait jouer Pearce toute l'année...

Joueur au physique classique du défenseur central stoppeur qui se contrefout de l'offensive. A connu, de mémoire, un match plutôt atroce. Pour le reste, il aurait mérité quelques départs de plus au détriment de Pearce. Sa puissance et sa stature semblent amener un certain élément rassurant pour le collectif que seul Nelson Rivas a su donner au bleu-blanc-noir depuis son entrée en MLS. 5/10

Je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi on va chercher un jouer qu'on ne fait pas jouer. Je pense qu'il aurait apporté un peu plus que Pearce.

Je me demande encore pourquoi nous avons fait son acquisition. C'est encore un "move" qui sent l'improvisation à plein nez. C'est un défenseur qui aurait pu peut-être nous aider mais un manque de temps de jeu flagrant ne lui a pas rendu service.
