BET99 Still Laying Odds On Montreal Impact!

CF Montreal’s new betting partner possibly hasn’t yet heard about a certain name-change

Has CF Montreal betting partner BET99 been oblivious to the rebranding/renaming news?

It appears that CF Montreal’s new betting partner BET99.com has missed some key and important news...

Going onto their web-site this evening to check on CFM’s chances this new MLS season, I was surprised to see the club not listed.

But you can get +5900 against MONTREAL IMPACT winning MLS Cup. Similarly MONTREAL IMPACT is listed as +3400 against winning the Eastern Conference. Only DC United is a bigger priced outsider at +6900.

But while we’re on the subject, the bookie (or at least the betting market) doesn’t raise too much hope about the Montreal club’s chances, whichever guise they use.

Montreal at +5900 to win MLS Cup are behind the likes of Colorado Rapids (too narrowly priced in my opinion at +2400), Nashville (+3400), and newcomers Austin and Cincinnati (both +4900).

The teams being backed for MLS Cup are current favourites LAFC (+370), last year’s finalists Columbus Crew and Seattle Sounders (both +440), Toronto FC (+540) and Philadelphia Union (+700).

The bookie is almost always right, but not in this case when it comes to getting their partner’s name correct.
