CF Montréal is going in to a daunting task. Le CFm will face Seattle Sounders in the next MLS match and what should the fans reasonable expectations be? What is the goal in this tough matchup? Can they get a result or should they punt on this one?

We should start with saying this might be CFM’s biggest out of conference challenge to date. Being top three in the East makes them a key opponent on cross conference matches. That is why this game vs the Sounders, the reigning CONCACAF Champions League winner mid you, it is important for MTL to try and pip some points out of this visit out west.

The Sounders, while in seventh, are a formidable team and on the rise in league play. With players like Raul Ruidiaz, the Roldan brothers, Jordan Morris and more, the team is stacked with talent.

However, this does present an opportunity to play up to level with a great team. It’s why even with the long distance, most CFM players are healthy and even with Djordje out, this could be a great opportunity to win.

Summing up, CFM should hope for the best, but temper expectations as Seattle even in seventh are always a dangerous threat.
