Monday Morning Image takes us to Hampden Park Glasgow this morning and a scene from the 1969 Scottish Cup Final, which was won 4-0 by Celtic who had already been crowned League Champions.
On this day a record for an Old Firm derby was set with a crowd of 132,870.
Alex Ferguson, now Sir Alex, played in the central striking role for Rangers that day and was scapegoated for not picking up Celtic centre-back and captain, Billy McNeill who headed the opening goal after only 3 minutes from a corner.
Ferguson was to never play another competitive game for his boyhood club after the heavy defeat.
