The Finnish FA has officially confirmed the withdrawal through injury of Jukka Raitala from their squad for the friendly against France and the subsequent Nations League meetings with Bulgaria and Wales, all scheduled over the next ten days.

Raitala picked up a knee injury in the game with Orlando City, probably from Daryl Dike’s heavy challenge quarter-way through, in which Raitala’s knee seemed to take the brunt.

The race is now on to get the Impact captain fit for the Nov 20 play-off clash with new England Revolution.

He has travelled back to Montreal with the rest of the Impact squad.
