Former Impact attacker Bojan Krkic appears to be sizing up India for his next move.

According to Transfermarkt a number of Indian clubs are interested, with Kerala Blasters and Hyderabad FC the most serious contenders, with the latter appearing favourites to land the Catalan’s signature, due to their Barcelona connection.

Albert Roca (58) was coach at Hyderabad last year before Ronald Koeman offered him a place in the Barcelona back-room staff. The pair (Roca and Bojan) worked together previously as Bojan emerged into the first-team at Camp Nou.

Bojan’s has stated in the past that money isn’t his priority although any deal taking him to India is expected to be lucrative.

“For me, money is not the most important thing. For me, to be in the best team in the world is not the most important thing,” Krkic told ESPN last year.

“For me, the most important thing is to be in a place where I can enjoy playing football, where I can help the team, the club, and where I can feel that they believe in me.”
