MLS-is-Back - More Schedule Changes!

First the withdrawal of FC Dallas, then comes re-scheduling of the Nashville SC v Chicago Fire game.

FC Dallas players training in Orlando, before the spate of positive tests in their party. The club was withdrawn from the tournament with ten players affected by positive tests.

First it was FC Dallas, now we have a similar type situation with Nashville SC.

We understand however that ‘only’ five of the Nashville squad tested positive. But that’s enough to force a postponement of their opening tournament game against Chicago Fire, due for Wednesday, the opening evening.

The revised date for the Nashville-Chicago game has not yet been announced.

Also Toronto FC’s opening game due for this Friday (July 10) has been rescheduled due to the Reds late arrival in Orlando. Instead of playing at 8pm on that date, the match against DC United will not take place on Sunday, July 12 at 09.00 am.
